Who am I?
Hi, I’m Mimi!
I’m a mom and a linguist and I know firsthand how stressful parenting can be, especially when it involves juggling more than one language.
What I’m about?
Simplifying the journey of raising multilingual children. I’m here to take the complexity out of it, offering clear, practical strategies that connect the dots between linguistic theory and the often-overwhelming reality of everyday family life.
I’ve seen the beauty of raising multilingual children and I’ve also seen the struggle and overwhelm. With over 10 years of personal experience (and two multilingual children who double as my most unfiltered feedback loop), plus a whole lot of professional expertise,
I don’t just know the theory - I’ve lived it, tested it, tweaked it and have been helping others do the same.
Working hand-in-hand with families and educators, I’m on a mission to promote home languages and foster a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion - one that truly values multilingualism as a strength and home languages as assets.
You’re not expected to have all the answers. I’m here to help you find what works - for you.
