Why work with me?

If you're looking for someone who offers one-size-fits-all, rule-based approaches, where you're handed a formula and told this is the only right way, you're in the wrong place.

I base everything I do on science-backed, research-informed practice. But I don't believe in applying universal solutions to unique lives. Because you are a living, evolving, beautifully complicated human being and you deserve to be treated as one.

So I don't just look at languages. I look at lives.

Everyone comes to me carrying a story - full of hopes, worries, what-ifs and why-nots. Unspoken fears about getting it wrong. Guilt about what's already happened. Love that runs deeper than any language planning could capture. I don't treat that story as something to fix. I treat it as something to understand. Something to cherish.

Because language isn't neutral. It carries identity, belonging, memory, culture and connection. When we work together, your goals, your values, your lived experiences - they lead the way. Hand in hand with science.

What that looks like in practice:

I take the whole picture seriously, not just the surface. I leave room for nuance, for emotional realities, for the parts that are hard to name. I ask the questions that get underneath the question you came in with and more often than not, what we uncover together is more useful than the answer you thought you needed.

I offer guidance with openness and without judgment. I don't lecture. I don't box people in. I co-create - with you, not at you.

And I make sure you feel seen. Not as an issue to solve, but as a human doing work that matters; whether that's raising children, supporting families or building organisations where multilingualism is truly valued.

That responsibility is not lost on me. Neither is the heart behind it. Because these languages hold people together.

You deserve support that knows that and cares for it accordingly.
